I finally got around to making a couple of labels. I cheated and used photos – despite my intent to break out pens and paint. Just ran out of time. I like the general designs – and the changing logo colors to match the themes.

A small batch English Brown Ale, a homage to my friends at Bastrop Brewhouse and Ed’s St. Camilla Honey Brown. And that is a SHINEY motor.
Kanza prairie near Manhattan Kansas – KSU. There is a touch of grassiness after the second dry hop with Falconer’s Flight and Simcoe.
Scissors, photocopies, and I found some washable stick glue that my wife uses at school. Tested out perfectly. Labels slide right off in hot water – and condensation on the bottle helps the initial stick. The paper towel helps keep the label from sliding around. Make SURE to cover each corner!
Prepped these for a buddy’s wedding in a couple of weeks. The matching crowns is functional as well as – well complimentary to the labels.
